This cute little man (Jay Daniel Brady) was added to our family on July 29, 2008. He was 7 lb. 14 oz. and 21.5 inches long. What a doll huh? I call this look: "I just had a baby and I'm on a lot of drugs"
Check out his HAND! Holy Caveman! They are huge.
In case you are wondering... his feet are just as big! Here he is dreaming up devious ways to keep us up at night. So far he's only implimented one plan... and it works.
In the first week he gained a pound. And from there he just kept getting bigger... And Bigger....
And BIGGER!!!! (Okay so I'm pretty sure these were all taken on the same day and I just kept thinking up angles to make him look fatter!)
Here's Jay and Daddy on his blessing day (Aug. 31st, Jay is one month old).
Look how handsome my boys are. FYI: That blessing outfit was made by my grandma for my oldest brother 30 years ago!
These are the men that stood in the circle to bless him. A few guys from our ward were missing and one two year old was added. Notice how organized the Brady side is on the left and then make your way over to my gene pool!
This is Jay's cousin, Ailee. What a good helper. And this is Jay today. He's only two months old but looks much older. We just went to the doctor yesterday and he is now 12 lb. 9 oz and 25.75 inches long! That means in 8 weeks he gained 5 pounds and grew 4 inches! As his dad would say, "That's ma-boy!"
I love this kid. Being a Mom is the greatest job ever!
I could cry Stacy - and he's not even mine!! I love him already. He totally looks like he belongs to you and Joey! I think he has your lips and then Joey's face structure. And man he is HUGE! I can't wait to meet him in person and hold him and everything...
